Studio software built by a music teacher, for music teachers.

Your timetable, invoices, makeups and enquiries in one place. It knows New Zealand and Australian public holidays and school terms, so the lessons that don't happen never end up on a bill.

Try it now Free until 1 February 2027. No sign up, no card.

A term invoice from the sample studio, with 26 October, Labour Day, listed under Not charged.

Labour Day comes off the bill by itself, and the invoice shows it.

Why I built it

I teach piano, guitar and beginner singing in Long Bay. The studio software I tried was North American, and it didn't know what Labour Day was. So every public holiday meant cancelling lessons by hand, and missing one meant charging a family for a lesson that never happened.

So I built my own, and I've run my studio on it since July. This is that app, rebuilt so any teacher can set it up for their own studio. Every rule in it came from a real week of teaching, and now I'm opening it to a small group of teachers to test.

What it does

Bills by the term, the month or the lesson

Term billing uses your region's real school terms, and public holidays come off automatically. That covers every New Zealand anniversary day and every Australian state. Teach on a holiday by arrangement and one tap puts it back.

Makeups that stay fair

You set your rules: how much notice you ask for, whether late notice is charged, how many makeups a term, and when they run out. The app applies them, so you don't have to remember them lesson by lesson.

Invoices with your name on them

Your studio name, colour and logo, your bank account and your GST number if you have one. A new student's first invoice is due a week after their first lesson, not before it.

Your students, straight from a spreadsheet

Copy the rows out of Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, or fill in the template, and your students come in with their weekly lesson times.

A timetable that can't double-book

Two lessons for the same student at once are refused, and two students at once ask first. Pencil in a time you've offered and it holds the slot without billing anyone.

Your free times, ready to post

It works out which times you've got to sell and writes them as a sentence you can paste straight into a Facebook group.

Your data stays yours

During the beta, your studio is stored only in your own browser, on your own device. That means it's on one device for now, so set it up on the one you'll have with you between lessons. Nothing about your students reaches me or anyone else. The app itself has no tracking, and you can download everything or delete it whenever you like.

The beta

Free until 1 February 2027

I'm looking for up to ten independent teachers in New Zealand and Australia to use it with their real studio and tell me honestly what works and what doesn't.

From 1 February 2027 it's NZ$25 a month, including GST. As a beta teacher you keep a founding price of NZ$19 a month for as long as you stay subscribed. In Australia? I'll confirm yours in Australian dollars before then. Nobody's charged anything without choosing to sign up.

Families keep paying you by bank transfer or cash. No card payments, parent login or calendar sync yet.

Not sure yet? Open it and pick Look around a sample studio first. You get six invented students to try everything on.

Using it with your real studio? Email me so I can add you to the list for accounts. It's the only way I'll know you're there.
